A love for the unique with a focus on color

Molly Fauth's journey into the world of gem cutting began in 2018 at the Durango Gem and Mineral Show, where a chance encounter with master gemcutter Bruce Frust sparked a deep passion for the lapidary arts. Since that moment, Bruce has generously shared his expertise, imparting over 30 years of knowledge and skill, which continues to shape Molly's craft today.

Kaleidoscope Gems was born from a commitment to excellence in gemstone cutting. To facet a gem is to peer into a miniature universe—discovering hidden inclusions, subtle variations in growth patterns, beams of light dancing within, or an exceptional clarity that captivates the eye. It’s this pursuit of revealing each stone’s unique beauty that defines Kaleidoscope Gem's mission.

A colored gemstone is far more than just a stunning mineral; it is a rare geological treasure, an heirloom to be passed down through generations, a statement of personal style, and a sound investment. As such, each stone is meticulously cut to showcase its distinctive qualities, ensuring that only the highest level of craftsmanship and artistry is reflected in every piece.

My goal is to create lively gems that showcase the fabulous wonders of nature. Every gem has a story to tell and I’m thrilled to be a part of that journey.

Thank you for taking the time to check out my website. My goal is to create lively gems that showcase the fabulous wonders of nature. Every gem has a story to tell and I'm thrilled to be a part of that journey. I prioritize working with natural rough of known origin by working with reputable companies within the industry. In doing so, I can be confident of the source and any treatments that might have occurred to the gem before cutting and pass that valuable information onto you.
